Cured pork (preferably guanciale, but I could only find pancetta. bacon also works)
Pecorino Romano (can sub for Parmesan if you can’t find Pecorino Romano, however it’s authentic to only use Pecorino Romano)
Eggs
Fresh cracked black pepper

In this rendition, I played with Pecorino Romano and Parmesan, which I found to be absolutely DELICIOUS. While this is not the authentic Roman method, I found it to be absolutely delightful to my taste. Follow your personal preference when making this dish and you won’t be disappointed!
