Juventus players arrived at Continassa training ground in Turin on Tuesday to resume their training after a month and a half hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The members of the team, including football stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Rodrigo Bentancur, arrived in their private vehicles, many of them wearing face masks, to participate in the training session.
Ronaldo observed a two-week isolation period at his home in Turin after spending almost 10 weeks of lockdown at his home island of Madeira, Portugal.
The Italian Football Federation earlier confirmed that all competitions including the Serie A will remain suspended until June 14. However, professional sports teams can resume training from May 18, said Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.
Italy has been among the hardest-hit nations with at least 225,886 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 32,007 deaths related to the virus, according to the data compiled by John Hopkins University.
