Dinner is served everybody, and this episode #11 features Finnegan’s Wake Irish Pub in downtown Springfield, Missouri!! I ordered 7 delicious sets of items from their to-go menu which was A LOT of food – 2 appetizers, 4 entrees, and a sweet dessert. Finnegan’s Wake Irish Pub is where my friends and I go most often when we go out around downtown Springfield, MO. The atmosphere is always fun and we have a great time there. Thanks to the hard-working team at Finnegan’s Wake Irish Pub for the delicious dinner they served me. Here are all the items I ordered:
1) Scotch Eggs – two soft-boiled jumbo eggs wrapped with sausage and breadcrumbs, and then deep fried.
2) Twice Baked Potato Skins – stuffed with Guinness corned beef gravy, beer cheese, mashed potatoes, and bacon crumbled, topped with sour cream and green onions.
3) Reuben Sandwich – hand-cut corned beef, sauerkraut, 1,000 Island dressing, and Swiss cheese all on Rye bread. For my side, I ordered some of their mac and cheese.
4) Fish ‘n Chips – hand-battered fish w/ house chips, coleslaw, and house tartar sauce. This also included a side salad topped with basic ranch dressing.
5) Slider Trio – 1 black angus slider w/ American cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes + 1 corned beef slider w/ coarse grain honey mustard, Swiss cheese, and pickles + 1 pulled pork slider w/ slaw and BBQ sauce.
6) Cottage Pie – black Angus beef, healthy veggies, and mashed potatoes topped with Guinness corned beef gravy in a puff pastry bowl.
7) Bread Pudding topped w/ whiskey icing.
