USA 7-9th February 2016: VIA@ Italian Wine Week Vino, NY. For the past few years, Italy has been the leader in wine exports to the US, playing a key role in the American culture and gastronomy. From the 7th to the 9th of February, the Italian Wine Week – organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) and known in the US as “VINO 2016” – will host Vinitaly International at the Hilton Midtown Hotel in New York. During VINO 2016, Vinitaly International will carry on with its educational project VIA – Vinitaly International Academy. Doct. Ian D’Agata, VIA Scientific Director, will hold one workshop on restaurant trends in Italy and two Executive Wine Seminars on Grignolino (an Italian rare grape) and the attractiveness of Italian artisanal wines, global leaders in the global wine production.
