Copycat Italian Muffuletta from Napoleon House in New Orleans LA
Half chopped onion
Quarter diced green bell pepper
6 cloves of chopped garlic
3 tablespoons each red wine vinegar & extra virgin olive oil
1.5 tablespoons Italian seasoning
3.5 oz bottle of Capers
5.75 oz bottle of Sliced manzanilla olive with pimento
Artichokes heart
Half 16 oz jar of Italian mix giardiniera crunchy vegetables chopped
1 15 oz Can Garbanzo beans
6 oz package of Pastrami beef
8 oz package of Honey ham
5 oz package of Salami
8 oz package of Swiss cheese
8 oz package of Provolone cheese
Step 1 drain capers. Olive and artichoke heart
Step 2 chop onion, garlic, and green bell pepper
Step 3 chop Italian mix giardiniera crunchy vegetables
Step 4 assemble olive salad by putting step 1,2,3 in big bowl then add Italian seasoning, olive oil, red wine vinegar fold them all together let it sit while assemble muffuletta
Step 5 slice sesame artisan bread in half then brush olive oil
Step 6 lay Swiss cheese first on the bottom half then lay provolone cheese, honey ham, salami at last Pastrami
Step 7 put bread under broiler till brown
Step 8 put olive salad on top of meat then slice into serving size
