Stacking on Nationality/ US State Notes:
After the compliment – you are carrying the conversation for the first few minutes.
This is the ATTRACTION Phase of the conversation.
Your vibe should teasey, playful, high energy, positive, having fun. Vibe is infectious it will pass to the girl.
Conviction – charismatic speakers usually chat nonsense but they have conviction. The girl often isn’t listening specifically to your words but how you are saying them and your level of conviction.
We need to be carrying the conversation for the first few minutes until the girl feels good/ attracted and wants to continue. She then will ask a question – the hook point. And then go into investment phase of the process.
Talk about her – its interesting for the girl.
How we do it?
It’s your job to carry the convo and make something happen.
Tie it to say what you see – makes you present
I thought you looked nice/ I had to say hello then into the hair colour, eye colour, tease on walk or clothing something that stands out.
e.g.
You: ‘I noticed your brown, hair, brown eyes and strut like you’re on a cat walk, you must be from Spain’
Girl: ‘Actually I’m from Italy’
You: ‘Ok, when I think of Italy…’ Begin stacking process
Process:
Stack A:
– Story about her involving nationality/ state: stereotypes: location, weather, food, drink, and stereotypes of people
Eg.
You: ‘I can imagine you sitting by the Coliseum in Rome on a hot summers day wearing a short sipping a glass of Limoncello and on your table is a big bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese and you are gesticulating furiously at the waiter because Italian women are fiery and expressive and your order was supposed to be lasagna and you are not impressed.’
The girl may jump into the conversation and start playing along, if so great. If not then ask a playful question at the end related to the role play about her and hopefully she will jump in and then you are into a conversation.
You: ‘Which drink do you usually like to drink in a café in Italy on a hot summers day when you are people watching and relaxing?’
If girl is still standing there but not yet invested in the conversation then go into 2nd stack:
STACK B:
– Talk about stereotypes of men and women in particular country, (you carrying on the original story from STACK A)
You: ‘After you have sorted out your order you look up and see a well dressed Italian man in an Armani suit sit down next to you and he tries to start flirting with you but you know notice he has a dodgy moustache like Luigi from Mario Brothers and you are not interested anyway because although he is good looking you know at heart all Italian men are soft mumma’s boys.’
The girl may jump into the conversation and start playing along, if so great. If not then ask a playful question at the end related to the role play about her and hopefully she will jump in and then you are into a conversation:
You: ‘What was right and wrong about my description of Italian dating culture’ (said playfully).
