Hasanpasha Kofte is one of the well-known kofte dishes in Turkish cuisine. It is meatball shaped into a bowl and topped with potato puree. This makes it look beautiful and easy to serve too. I am sharing the complete menu to give you an idea for your dinner or iftar menu.

Ingredients For Hasanpasha Kofte:
500gr. ground beef or lamb or a mix of both
1 big onion
3 slices of old bread
1 egg
1 tsp each salt and black pepper
about 2 tbsp bread crumbs if is it juicy and you cannot shape it easily
For the potato puree:
400-500gr. potato (peeled, cut in big chunks)
water to cook
1+ 1/2 tbsp butter (50gr.)
about 1/2 cup whole milk
salt and dash of black pepper
For the tomato sauce:
3 tbsp olive oil
1 close to heaped tbsp tomato paste
1+1/2 cup water
