Italian Crazy For Philippine Mangoes! Life in a Farm in the Philippines From harvesting to eating, our mangoes are now ripe, yellow and ready to be enjoyed as delicious desserts or shakes! In our previous video, we harvested green mangoes here in my wife’s family’s farm in Batangas and stored them in a box with kakawate leaves for ripening. I prefer to eat them ripe and yellow. The ripe, yellow Philippine mango is my favorite fruit and for me it is the best! Sweet, firm, juicy and delicious! The yellow Philippine mangoes taste so much better than the mangoes I tasted in Italy. I find the green mangoes a bit sour but my wife loves to eat them green as well. For this hot summer day, my wife decided to turn the ripe ones into mango shake, my favorite drink! I am so happy! The yellow mangoes are so delicious to eat that I can not resist taking them while my wife was slicing them for the mango shake, haha! Check out the video!
