Hi! A new video to describe main peculiarities of a local grape called “Turbiana”, a native grape from Lake Garda: this is an interregional denomination between Veneto and Lombardy regions (north of Italy).
This Lugana wine is produced by Zenato family, Sansonina production: the wine has a vivid freshness, but there is a big difference between the easier version (vintage 2009) and the “fermentazione spontanea” (vintage 2015): this last wine comes from a vineyard 40 yo and the winemaker doesn’t use selected yeasts for the fermentation but only native yeasts naturally inside bunches. This method represents a way of producing in a natural way, giving to wine the possibility of the best expression of its unique perfumes.
