Jeremy Parzan has a doctorate in Italian literature, and writes the well respected and popular wine blog, Do Bianchi. He has been instrumental in bringing awareness to many Italian varietals, particularly Franciacorta, and always brings the human touch to his writing, which I enjoy. I asked him to speak a little about the important Nero d’Avola grape, and for fun, how he might relate it to Sicilian literature.
