Dinner is served everybody, and this episode #5 features a Chicago Cheesesteak Sandwiches Challenge with 8 cheesesteaks, 1 Italian Beef Sandwich, and a Jumbo Chicago Dog!! I visited the South Springfield location of Chicago Cheesesteak Company in Springfield, Missouri near where I live, and ordered 10 different items from their menu. Chicago Cheesesteak Company serves delicious sandwiches and they have a whole bunch of hot dogs on their “secret menu” as well. I ordered the 7 different cheesesteak sandwiches on their menu plus a Buffalo Chicken Philly Sandwich, a Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich, and a Jumbo Chicago Dog. #1 Chicago Cheesesteak – Our signature sandwich! American Cheese with fresh lettuce, fresh tomatoes, diced raw onions, seasonings, oil and vinegar on our toasted bread!
#2 Philly Cheesesteak – Mozzarella Cheese with grilled onions, grilled green peppers, grilled mushrooms and seasonings served on our toasted bread!
#3 Spicy Cheesesteak – Mozzarella Cheese, grilled onions, grilled pepperoncini, crushed red pepper and seasonings wedged in between our toasted bread!
#4 BBQ Cheesesteak – American Cheese, grilled onions and your choice of Chicken or Steak, mixed with our BBQ sauce, served on our toasted bread!
#5 Catfish Cheesesteak – Breaded and fried catfish on our toasted bread with american cheese, then topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes and onions!
#6 Springfield Cheesesteak – Mozzarella Cheese with a chopped up chicken tender, covered in our homemade cashew sauce, topped off with cashews and green onions. All on our toasted bread.
#7 Halle(peno) Berry Cheesesteak – Mozzarella Cheese, fresh grilled jalapeños and cream cheese on our toasted bread. Topped off with Grape Jelly. It’s as sweet and incredible as the actress herself.
