Cantina di Solopaca Aglianico – Italian Red Wine
Decent Italian red wine from the Solopaca region. High acidity with a moderately balanced palate. Smooth and medium-bodied with acidic high-notes. Very tannic, as most Italian wines. Lots of cranberry, green strawberry and some minerality to round out the finish. Lilac, tobacco, sweet basil and plum on the nose. Garnet color.
I would rate this wine at an 88 out of 100. Decent quality, palatable, smooth sipper.
