New Yorkers in need have been getting free food from more than 400 hubs across the city as the coronavirus cost millions of Americans their jobs.
Footage filmed on Friday shows people queuing at a food hub in Brooklyn and picking up free meals while maintaining safety distance.
Food banks have seen a hike in demand after 22 million Americans applied for unemployment benefits in the past month alone.
The US has been the worst hit country by COVID-19 in the world with New York City at the epicentre of the pandemic.
