In view of the major Italian wine trade show Vino 2010 that will take place in New York next week, on January 29, 2010, the Embassy of Italy hosted a roundtable on Wine Quality Control System. Organized in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture, the event was attended by Ambassador Giulio Terzi and representatives from the two major laboratories responsible for controlling the quality of Italy’s wine products—Istituto Agrario San Michele all’Adige and Unione Italiana Vini.
