Just because you can’t dine in at restaurants right now, doesn’t mean you have to cook every night. Hi, I’m Jeanette Nelson and welcome to another episode of connecting OSI where we connect OSI residents with OSI lights. Over the last few weeks, our world has been turned upside down with this Coronavirus. There are four restaurants that I’d like to share with you today who could use your support and I’m sure you’re going to love it. The first place I’m going to share with you is Bose bagels and coffees. If you ever go to Trader Joe’s, you’ll see it right there on the corner of Burke, Christine Hamilton. If you haven’t walked into Bose bagels yet, you’ll be greeted with a friendly staff. When you walk in, you can smell the wonderful aroma of home-baked goods. One of my favorites has banana bread. They also are famous for The Hamilton, which is an egg sandwich that you could enjoy on any bagel and you can also enjoy a vanilla latte.
You can still enjoy Bose bagels and coffee. All you need to do is come in and order to go or you can go online and order with Postmates. Another restaurant that is a great option to try right now is right across the street from Bose bagels and it is Basilica CO’s. Basilica is a classic Italian quaint restaurant and they’re having an amazing special right now. The special is served from 12 to three they’re these amazing Italian sliders. You’ve got to try him. My favorite is the Italian spicy sausage slider. Along with that special from 12 to three make sure you add to your order the mini cannolis. Even though you can’t walk in and sit down and enjoy that wonderful ambiance, you can still enjoy their food in the comfort of your own home. You can go online and order there or you can walk in and take it to go.
