The U.S. passes a grim milestone as China reveals encouraging news.

But preliminary findings out of New York reveal possibly encouraging news.
Governor Andrew Cuomo cited a study of 3,000 people that revealed one in five of these individuals tested positive for coronavirus antibodies.
This means as many as 2.7 million New Yorkers may have had the virus and survived — making the survival rate much higher than previously believed.
According to China’s National Health Commission, there have been no new cases of coronavirus in Hubei province in 20 days.
Additionally, the number of cases dipped below 50 for the first time today.
Hubei’s capital city of Wuhan is where the virus first emerged.
After a great deal of controversy and pushback from President Trump, Georgia opened parts of its economy today.
Barbershops, salons, tattoo parlors, gyms opened their doors for the first time in weeks.
Dining in at restaurants will be allowed starting on Monday.
The European Union announced plans to raise roughly $8.1 billion from a global pledging effort starting in early May.
The money is said to be used for virus prevention and treatment.
