I EXPOSE Chandigarh’s OVERRATED Indian Street Food | 28 Hours NON Stop Street Food Tour
Chandigarh has seriously become one of my favorite cities for food and in this episode I explored 4 absolutely packed and legendary food spots across the city. From massive crowds and authentic regional flavors to world class pizzas and comforting cafe food, this food tour had everything.
First stop was Toshib’s Chandigarh in Sector 34C, Chandigarh. This place serves more than 140 food items and the crowd here tells you everything you need to know. People from all across the city come here to eat and the energy of this place is insane.
Second stop was the legendary Shree Ganesh in Sector 15, Chandigarh. What started from a tiny 2 feet by 4 feet table has now grown into almost 45 outlets across the country. They serve some of the most delicious South Indian and Maharashtrian breakfast items including Appam, Poha, Shrikhand, Puran Poli, Dahi Bhalla and a huge variety of other dishes.
Third stop was Rojo Tomate in Sector 10, Chandigarh. Easily one of the most special pizza spots I have ever visited. The owner lived in Singapore for almost 25 years after moving there from Haryana and learned authentic pizza making from his Italian friends. Today he uses premium ingredients, tomatoes from his own fields, imported flour and high quality cheese to create some of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. His passion for Italy and pizza culture is unbelievable.
Last stop was one of my personal favorites in Chandigarh, Backpackers Cafe in Sector 8. Their Pasta Arrabbiata is something I keep coming back for and their cappuccino is genuinely one of my favorites as well. The vibe, comfort food and overall atmosphere here always make it a perfect experience.
If you love food, cafes, hidden gems and authentic experiences then this Chandigarh food tour is for you.

The journey of this Amit guy is really a testament of internet’s power, I saw the video years ago where he opened his own resto but this is amazing. This guy and the lorry driver uncle who got handed his resto from his father in law, truly inspiring stories

In my opinion toshib's momo are v mid. You should try majestic momo in Pkl. Also the list definitely deserves Ovenfresh.
Shree Ganesh started when I was still in college. From a simple cart to a corner shop and serving the same taste everytime, chd is truly blessed with such hole in the wall places.
